Barcelona's Invasion stick the three-chord approach to hardcore with so many left turns - so much reverb on the vocals that it sounds like the singer is attacking himself, long pauses for ambience, non-instrument noises, and unsteady percussion that rapidly shifts upgear - that their take on the genre sounds both as it should (a tornado of masonry, heading towards unprotected bodies) and as they will it.
