This DOUBLE-LP set features 18 tracks by Japanese artists, recorded during the years 2013-2017 and previously only available on hard-to-find cassettes put out by the Birdfriend tape label. Expect fractured rhythms and future-now timbres, questing intelligences and D.I.Y. energy, conveyed to you through hand-made synths, custom electronics, synths and samplers. The selection was made by Japanese musician/composer Koshiro Hino (a.k.a. YPY), who is a founding member of the Osaka-based band Goat and also in charge of Birdfriend.
